Made for Trijam #152 in 3 hours
This game is very unbalanced and lacks features because of the time limit, so there are known bugs in the game. I may update this game in the future to make this more playable.

Story: 

A shopkeeper grows restless as adventurers keep barging into his home and stealing his items. He decides to add defenses to make sure adventurers leave him alone, only to realize that the added defenses and riches attract more adventurers to his home, resulting in an endless cycle of power for the shopkeeper.

Controls:
Standard Tower Defense Rules
When a wave is not currently going on, use the buttons at the bottom to select a defense to place. Either a cannon or crossbow, depending on how much money you have. 
You gain money after every wave.
Start a wave using the button on the bottom right corner.
You lose if the enemy ever reaches the left side.
It is difficult to genuinely lose and end this game due to how the enemies spawn, so feel free to stop and quit whenever you'd like.
